Theresa Coffey is one of thousands of Texomans rushing to mail packages just five days before Christmas and she admits to be a repeat offender of last minute shipping.
"It's just my nature, I could start shopping, there's years I start shopping 6 months ahead of time and I always end up doing this at the last minute," she said.
She sent six small packages to family in Bedford and Tyler and picked ground shipping because if you send by Thursday the 22nd, your packages are still guaranteed to make it under the tree before Christmas.
"I gotta get their presents there on time and we'll be together after christmas, things are just crazy with their families and so we'll get together when we don't have to be so rushed," she said.
Sherman U.P.S. store manager Cat Adair said there are other ways to make sure your gifts reach their destinations before Christmas day.
"Yeah, you can get guaranteed overnight, 2-day and 3-day as of right now," she said.
